Upload a New Asset or New Round

When you're ready to upload a new image or document or when it's time to upload a new round of an image with the edits completed, you'll do this inside of a project.

The easiest way to upload images and files to a project in verybusy.io is to drag and drop them into any project for immediate upload.

You can also select New > Asset Upload to open your file browser and select assets from your hard drive.

verybusy.io upload assets and folders, create folders

Assets Tab

Image files will automatically be placed in your Assets tab (the tab that is active when you enter a project)

Documents Tab

Document filetypes will automatically be placed in the Documents tab (top-center of the interface)

⚠️ Important: When uploading a new round, ensure the new file(s) has the same file name and file extension as the file you are updating. This will ensure the images stack on one another and the new image shows up as a new round. For more information on how rounds work within verybusy.io visit Round Tracking.

Using Folders

Folders are excellent for organizing projects by shoot date, segment, or status or for delivery of final assets. Here’s how to create and upload a folder:

Creating a Folder

  1. Click the blue New button.

  2. Select Create Folder.

Once created, you can:

  • Drag and drop assets into the folder.

  • Double-click to enter the folder and drag and drop assets into it.

Uploading a Folder with Assets

To upload a folder containing assets:

  • Drag and drop the folder directly into a project for immediate upload, OR

  • Click the blue New button, select Folder Upload, and upload the folder from your hard drive.

👍 Good news: Uploaded folders will maintain their folder structures.
