How to Use the Project & Folder Overview Panel

Updated this week

The Project and Folder Overview panel gives Owners and Managers a bird's-eye view of workload distribution across a project or folder — showing asset assignments and labels in one place, so you always know who's working on what without digging through individual assets.

🔒 The Overview panel is only accessible to users with an Owner or Manager role in the project.

How to Open the Overview Panel

You can open the Project Overview from two places:

1. From the Project Dashboard

  • Hover over any project or folder thumbnail.

  • Click the Overview icon that appears on the thumbnail.

2. From Inside a Project

  • Open any project or folder.

  • Click the Overview button in the top action bar, next to the filter controls.

The panel will open on the right side of your screen and stay open as you navigate between projects and folders — so you never lose context while exploring.

What You'll See

The overview panel is organized into two tabs:

1. Overview tab

  • A list of all collaborators with assigned assets, ordered from most to least.

    • Collaborators with no assigned assets are grouped under Show More to keep the view clean.

  • Label distribution across the project.

2. Information tab

  • Project totals and activity data.

Filtering by Assignee or Label

Click on any assignee or label in the Overview panel to instantly filter the asset view to only show assets matching that person or tag.

Access Control

  • The Overview panel is visible only to users with an Owner or Manager role in the project.

  • Users without Manager access will see a restricted state with a prompt to request access or upgrade their seat.

  • Users on a Pro plan will see a Studio Plan paywall for the assignment section, as asset assignments are a Studio Plan feature.
