Upload New Images

When you're ready to upload a new image or document or when it's time to upload a new round of an image or images with the edits completed, you'll do this inside of a project.

The easiest way to upload images and files to a project in verybusy.io is to drag and drop them into any project for immediate upload.

You can also select New > Asset Upload to open your file browser and select assets from your hard drive.

Upload a New Round

Purpose-built features to streamline revision tracking:

  1. Drag & Drop files into the project, right-click an image thumbnail and select "add round" or in Markup View you can select the "Add round".

  2. If the new files have the same filename as the previous versions, VeryBusy will automatically stack the asset, label them as a new review round, and notify project collaborators.

  3. Smart Uploads: automatically detects similar file names and lets you decide how to manage your uploads. Learn More here!

Using Folders

Folders are excellent for organizing projects by shoot date, segment, or status or for delivery of final assets. Here’s how to create and upload a folder:

Creating a Folder

  1. Click the blue New button.

  2. Select Create Folder.

Once created, you can:

  • Drag and drop assets into the folder.

  • Double-click to enter the folder and drag and drop assets into it.

Uploading a Folder with Assets

To upload a folder containing assets:

  • Drag and drop the folder directly into a project for immediate upload

    OR

  • Click the blue New button, select Folder Upload, and upload the folder from your hard drive.

👍 Uploaded folders will maintain their folder structures.
