Our Download Permissions settings gives Project Owners and Managers the power to decide whether Reviewers can download assets from a project.
Why This Matters
✅ Protect Work-in-Progress: Keep early rounds or unapproved assets from being downloaded.

Key Things to Know:
By default, downloads for Reviewers are enabled.
Editors can always download assets — to have in mind when decicidng how to share projects and who to assign as Editor vs. Reviewer.
Use Reviewers for clients or external stakeholders, you need more control over asset download.
Use Editors when collaboration involves hands-on work or asset management. Like retouchers.
Who Can Manage Download Permissions?
Only Project Owners and Managers can enable or disable download permissions for Reviewers.
How to Manage Download Permissions
Option 1: From the Share Modal
Click the “Share Project” button in the project (top right).
At the bottom click on “Manage Download Permissions”.
Option 2: From Project Settings
Click the 3-dot menu next to the Share button.
Select “Project Settings”.
Go to the Permissions tab.
How the Setting Works
Toggle Allow Reviewers to Download Assets ON (default) to allow downloads for all Reviewers.
Toggle OFF to restrict Reviewers from downloading assets while still allowing them to view, comment, and approve.
By managing download permissions, you can safeguard your assets, deliver work with confidence, and ensure clients or external collaborators have just the right access they need.
