Below is a guide for when you're invited to a project. The first section is for project stakeholders who are reviewing and approving images. The second section is for retouchers who are invited to a project.

Providing Feedback on Images

  1. Access Your Project:

    • Double-click on a project thumbnail to see all of the assets within that project.

⚠︎ Note: if you followed a link to a project from a project invite email, you will automatically be placed inside the project.

  2. Access Markup View:

    • Double-click on an image thumbnail to enter Markup View. The brush tool will be selected, and the comment box will be active.

  3. Make Your Markups:

    • Start drawing directly on the image. Once you’re done, type your comment in the box and press Enter. Continue this process until all markups are complete.

  4. Check for Multiple Rounds:

    • Look for the round number in the dark bar at the top of the screen. Use it as a dropdown to see previous rounds. If the image has multiple rounds, use the "Before + After" button to toggle between the current round and the previous round to see changes.

  5. Download FPOs ("for placement only")

    • FPOs are low resolution files you can use in your layouts.

    • Navigate back to Project View by clicking the name of the project in the breadcrumbs, located in the dark bark at the top of the screen.

    • Then, hold Cmd (Ctrl on Windows) and click on the thumbnails of the images you wish to download.

    • Click the download button at the bottom of the interface. Leave the options unchanged to download full-resolution files or change the dropdown to low-res to download a smaller jpg.

    • Alternatively, download an individual image directly from Markup View.

  6. Approve

    • Stakeholders responsible for approving the retouching on the asset should use the Approve button to signify to the team that no further retouching is needed. You can approve in a few ways.

    • First, you can approve within Markup View by clicking the Approve button at the bottom-center of the screen (if you're not sure which button is which, just hover over them for a tool tip).

    • Second, to approve images in bulk, return to the Project View by clicking the breadcrumbs at the top of the screen. You can select images by:

      • Using cmd/ctrl + click to pick specific images.

      • Pressing cmd/ctrl + A to select all images.

      • Dragging your mouse across the images you want to highlight.

After selecting the images to approve, navigate to the bottom-center of the screen and click the Approve button.

    • Third, you can right-click any thumbnail or selected thumbnails and click Approve.

  7. Download Finals

    • Download finals in the same way you downloaded FPOs, except set the dropdown to "Original".

For Retouchers

  1. Review Comments and Markups

To begin your editing process, review any comments or markups made on the images:

    • Look for the blue comment bubble with a number on the image thumbnail. This indicates that feedback or markups have been provided.

    • Double-click the thumbnail to open and read the comments.

Once you’ve addressed all comments and markups, don’t forget to resolve them by clicking the checkmark icon in the upper right corner of the comment box. This will mark the comment as completed.

  2. Download Images for Editing

To download images for editing, follow these steps:

    1. Navigate back to the Project View by using the breadcrumb navigation.

    2. Click on the project name to open the full project.

    3. Hold Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) and click on the thumbnails of the images you want to download.

    4. Click the Download button at the bottom of the interface.

    5. Ensure the dropdown menu is set to Original to download full-resolution files for editing.

  3. Upload New Rounds

Once you have completed your edits, upload the updated files back into the system:

    • Use the same filename and extension as the original files. This ensures the new files will stack on top of their previous versions.

    • Avoid renaming the files or changing the extension, as this could prevent the files from linking correctly with the original versions.
