Leave a Project

There are a few reasons why you might want to leave a project:

  1. Project Completion: If the project is finished and no further involvement is required, leaving helps declutter your workspace.

  2. No Longer Involved: If your role in the project has ended or been transferred to someone else, you may leave to avoid unnecessary updates.

  3. Not Relevant: If you were mistakenly added or the project isn’t relevant to your current tasks, leaving can simplify your workspace.

  4. Avoiding Notifications: Leaving helps reduce notifications from projects you no longer need updates on.

If you are no longer collaborating on a project and wish to have it removed from your Project View, you can leave the project.

How to Leave a Project:

  1. Click on the Project Name to reveal a dropdown.

  2. Select Project Settings.

  3. Click the Leave Project button.

Hiding a Project:

⚠️ Note: Projects in the Hidden Tab still count toward storage for the workspace they belong to. For information on workspaces, check out this article.

If you simply want to hide the project from your dashboard:

  1. Click on the project you wish to hide.

  2. Click the Hide icon at the bottom of your screen (you can also hide by right-clicking on the thumbnail or by using the three-dot-menu on the thumbnail)

The project will move to your Hidden Tab.
