Transferring Project Ownership
Ownership can be transferred to anyone else within the project anytime. You may want to transfer ownership because you're no longer working in the project or or if you want to move a project to a different workspace by selecting a collaborator in that workspace.
To Transfer Ownership:
Enter the Project: Go to the project you want to transfer.
Open Project Settings: Click the three-dot menu next to the blue "Share Project" button and select “Project Settings.”
Go to the Transfer Ownership Tab: In the left panel, click on the “Transfer Ownership” tab.
Select the New Project Owner: Choose the new Project Owner from the dropdown, which will display only collaborators currently in the project.
Optional Message: Include a message if needed.
Confirm Transfer: Click the “Transfer” button and confirm the action.
⚠︎ Note: Only Project Owners can transfer project ownership. The Project Owner is by default the person who created the project. For information about project roles, see Project Roles.
