Troubleshooting: Browser Cache Issues (Folders, Images, Comments, or Blank Screen)

If you're experiencing issues with folders, images, comments, or markups not appearing, or you're seeing a blank white screen when navigating the platform, it's likely due to a browser cache problem.

Common Issues That Clearing Your Cache Can Resolve:

  • Slow performance or lagging when navigating the platform

  • Platform not loading (resulting in a blank white screen)

  • Missing folders (ensure no filters are active before checking)

  • Missing or invisible assets

  • Labels, priority tags, or asset names not updating

  • Missing interface buttons or text

How to Resolve:

For Google Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to app.verybusy.io.

  2. Click the padlock icon (or the "View site information" icon) to the left of the URL in the address bar.

  3. In the dropdown menu, select Cookies and site data.

  4. A list of stored cookies and site data for app.verybusy.io will appear.

  5. Click Clear all data under "Data from the site you're visiting."

  6. Select each item individually from the list and click the trashcan icon to delete them.

  7. Close the settings, refresh the page, and sign back into verybusy to apply the changes.

This will clear data specifically for app.verybusy.io while keeping data for other sites intact.

Alternatively:

  1. Open Chrome and click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner to open the menu.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. In the left sidebar, click Privacy and Security.

  4. Choose Cookies and other site data.

  5. Click See all cookies and site data.

  6. Use the search bar to find app.verybusy.io.

  7. Click the trash can icon next to it to remove the data.

This will clear cache for all sites.

For Safari:

  1. Click Safari in the top menu bar and select Preferences.

  2. Go to the Privacy tab.

  3. Click Manage Website Data.

  4. In the search bar, type app.verybusy.io to find the site's data.

  5. Select the site from the list, then click Remove, followed by Done.

After clearing the cache, refresh the platform, and you should see an improvement in performance and visibility of assets, folders, and labels. Please note you will need to log back in after clearing cache.

If the issue persists, please contact support for further assistance.
