Markup and Comment Tips

  • Vary your markup brush size depending on the size of what you’re calling out; do this by clicking on the slider located in the comment box.

  • Change brush colors to distinguish between commenters and/or to achieve better markup contrast against the image. To do this, clicking on the orange circle next to the slider.

  • To undo a markup, press cmd + z or use the undo button. Note: If you’ve made a mistake while marking up, delete the comment, and start again.

  • To see what markup corresponds with a comment, click on the comment. The corresponding markup will be highlighted. Comments with markups will display a blue brush icon.

  • To see what comment corresponds with a markup, select the arrow tool in the comment box, then click on the markup. The corresponding comment will change colors.

  • Mark comments as complete to keep track of what you need to do and give others insight into your progress. To mark a comment as complete, hover over the comment, then click the circle at the top right. The circle will change to a static green check mark.
